It maybe spectacular looking but it ain't worth $89 let alone $89 grand its still only a cougar covered in a load of glassfibre, like that R8 copy another reason for people to take the piss out of Cougar owners
If you can't afford the real thing then don't pretend that you can. Stuff like this reminds me of those ww2 reinactors that dress up and run around in the woods pretending to be real soldiers.

To be honest im not a massive fan of the veyron's looks anyway (I must be getting old, more into old muscle cars and 80's ferrari's etc)
That said, I can appreciate the work that has gone into this. :beer:
Why anyone would want to do that is beyond me, the real thing is far from glamorous! I don't like the car incidentally. I'd rather leave it as a Cougar or spend the money for the conversion on something better. He says in the article that he's always careful not to call it a Bugatti, so why try and make it look like one?
I like it and think he's done a stunning job. I'd rather spend £54k on that than a million on the real thing (not that I can afford either!)
Pile of s***! This is an insult to the couger. And i dissagree with what was written in that artical about the veron being better looking PANTS! I hate that stupid toilet seat grill and that huge rear end. Should hav issued a WIDELOAD signe on the back of that ugly.... Ok. Id better stop.. and one more thing, Hope he changes his mind and takes that bathroom accessory of the couger.. Ok iv stopped..
It's just like those MR2/Ferrari conversions. It doesn't look right, it doesn't sound right, and it sure as hell won't drive right. I wouldn't buy the thing.
But I admire the dedication and artistic skill that went into it. He's obviously had great fun doing this and as far as hobbies go, there's far worse ones you could have. And it does seem to be a hobby - the man isn't a car salesman or professional modder as far as I can tell.

It mentions nothing about rear wheel drive?, it also states the drivetrain has not been altered from standard?.
For what it is worth fair play to the guy looks stunning IMO and I love how the veyron looks.
If you can why not?, I'm sure most people think my car is a pile of crap but I know it is so don't care!

i think your car looks amazing, which is why its highly rated.
Don't like it myself, but not really in to making a Coug into something it's not...I love the way the Coug looks, why would I want to change it?? But as JJ has said, "if you can, why not?" and I suppose he's kinda right???

Well, its actually no a bad replica when it comes to looks, but imagine what you could do with the money on a "real" cougar insted! RWD, supercharger, ICE and so on
The site where I read about the car stated it was RWD, but proberly because they thought the Cougar is as standard... It's from Denmark where the cougar is pretty rare...

If I were to make a replica myself it would be of a Ford concept car the GT90... That would be awesome! With a V12 engine of course

SNAP! I think if i was to ever make a replica (GT90) that's what i would have done too. after all.. we are talking EDGE DESIGN now. But on the other hand, making the cougar go like Stig would be in consideration.
