Oil change service reccomendation period?

Hi Guys! Got myself a lovely 2004 mondeo st220 in performance blue,88000 on the clock.Wondered what you Guys thought of oil change serivice periods! I will be using ford 5/30 fully synthetic oil. I've heard 12000 miles or 12 months! But now the car is 10 years old! 88000 miles! Do you Guys think 6 months,6000 miles would be better! Many thanks!

definitely better. Some would argue not essential, but twice a year isn't too much of a hardship i would suggest and can hardly be a bad thing

Can't really do it too often, but yes bi-annual at that sort of interval is great.

Don't worry about it too much though, 12k or annual isn't a tremendously long service interval on an engine like this.
