Just thought would post this up as to give a little taster for those coming next week.

Great turn out today, large variety of cars, Ford Anglia with a 3L turbo lump, mondeo's, escorts, corsa, saxo's, scoobys, supras, stagera list goes on. Over 50 cars easily, with over 30 running.

May even of sorted a fellow mondeo owner with a mag feature, so a good day ;)

Looking good there Shaun - 50+ owners can't be wrong about the benefits of these remaps and the services provided (y)

Gutted I can't be with you next week but will be in contact with you once the rebuild is complete :)
 
Looks good, its just a shame the UkCougar.com turn out will be so low :( will have to re-name it 10 of the best :LOL:
I do know of a few more clubs and forums that use Hi-Tec and there aren't any complaints from them :)

Isn't that always the way? It has always been the same for the last seven years, there are a hardcore set of members who attend events, the faces change down the years, some of us still support the events that are organised by this club, even after 7 years. I am proud to take my car to club events and whatever happens on sunday, I intend to enjoy myself.
Hopefully, I'll get a late birthday present, if not, so what? I've tried.

Is your car going for a power run now Al? is it run in?
 
I get that a lot with stuff I run for my forum. I work on the rule of thumb that unless it's Fordfair, about 60% will drop out.

I would of come, but with the ST engine going to be dropped in, I don't see the point just yet.

It's getting the full beans Rich :) by the time i've done my travelling this week, it will be run in and ready for the rollers. Looking forward to it, and to meeting the faces again.

I hope that it all works out well for you, its a leap of faith to throw money at a car engine, I know because I have been there, it's just a pity that Mark and Nick weren't around the club back then as I would probably have something far better than I got from autocrap.

Mutual Rich, your story is a long one, so it would be great to see your cat performing as you originally anticipated. I think there are/were a few members who could have benefited from The BM team, fingers crossed eh (y)
 
Unfortunately will have to pull out of this, sorry to let you all down. Cat has developed serious brake failure :sick: , funds for the repair of which are not available this month, poetic justice I guess, I have neglected it over the winter. Car will be for sale at a very realistic price next month when the repairs have been carried out. Deposit can be used for whatever it is needed for.
 
Was looking forward to seeing everybody again and the fruits of your labour (mafia engine wise), but the list of faults is endless, all to do with braking system. Luckily when brakes failed there was nothing else about and I was able to use the handbrake to stop. Turns out that a couple of the front to back brake pipes are rotten and need renewing along with most of the front braking system. Had to buy a replacement car to use so Cat is parked up waiting for next months salary to arrive! If I get the chance I might pop over to spectate

Wonder if the Mafia would be interested in a restoration project
