If you have Amazon video, there are three seasons of the series 'Upload' which is a comedy/drama on the basis of digitally emulating the soul of the deceased based on their memories right before death.
I do have a Prime subscription, (curse me for a modern capitalist consumer! But seriously - I have a FireStick that requires one) and the concept is intriguing, from what I've just seen.
