Hi guys,
So just got myself another Cougar after selling my last one (Y704 SES) a good few years ago although I wish I hadn't!

This one's a V6 Auto (T144KEW) although the logbook says VX I don't think so, as it doesn't have leather or cd autochanger.
It's got a years mot at least, so just going to tinker away with all the wee niggly issues I've found so far so no doubt I'll have lots of questions.

Cheers

heh i think they all have niggly issues nowdays.

one of mines an auto and also says VX but its an error as the model VX dont exist.

did u get a bargain ,the prices are going up now.

Hey,
Not quite a bargain! £2200 at auction but seems to be rust free on the bodywork, just a few stonechips, need to look at the rear subframe but kinda scared to 😄

so long as its solid it dont matter how it looks, but if shes really good get some gooey oily wax stuff under there whilst the weathers dry and hot.

ive got 2 ,a manual and an auto(well the wife has the auto) and honestly the auto is waaay easier and relaxing to drive, they call em slush boxes on here but i think their just jealous
was your last one auto?
personally i dont think theres much performance difference in them, altho both mine are modded quite a bit:)
the auto loves ultra long journeys mainly cause they rev lower at high speeds.

she looks good from the front, lets see some more of her😁
enjoy your car!

Hi David, that stuff looks good!
I had a quick look underneath today and it looks surprisingly good!
Looks like it's been undersealed well, even the rear subframe looks good, although I need to get it up on a ramp for a proper look.
Sills look good too, but I'm going to have a look in the rear door cards tomorrow for the sponge of death 😄
