This is absolutely insane. I hope that some of you old-timers remember it, and I hope the rest of you have time to watch it.

You think you can drive? Do this:

Posted this in your recent Rover thread (reduced though) - some of the best footage ever it's insane in places!

Damn - should've recognised that, sorry. Had a bad 6 weeks - I've been low-grade ill with a side-order of stupid, and T's had bronchitis at the same time.

Hope that the full version mitigates that though.

Hope you're better now Chris.
Tony Pond was a true gentleman and awesome driver who I was lucky enough to meet several times. I have that on dvd and watch it regularly ;)

Entire brake lines?

You doing it in over evenings or a weekend job? Let me know when you're doing it I'll nip over and lend a hand

Just from the rear junction (next to the fuel tank) to the caliper on the nearside, so nothing too major. The reason for the delay (aside from illness/Christmas/etc.) is I'm waiting for T to get off her butt and order some new braided flexhoses for the rears; the connector between the flex and the hardline has corroded badly and can't be undone, so I'm just going to undo it at the banjo and replace the lot.

Many thanks for the offer! I'll put something up in the "Grr Rover!" thread closer to the time. Likely to be a Sunday morning.

Count me in too mate ;)

As an aside, the above mentioned Mr Pond had a big hand in the development of the MGF, which is a major reason why I'm going to buy one this year.
