Well......err.....I have decided to keep it! :) Reducing the tyre pressures and changing the droplinks has resulted in a much smoother and quiter ride. I'm quite enjoying it now :) Only sad thing is after almost 2500 miles of trouble free motoring my almost mint bodywork now has a large dent on each rear quarter and a scratched rear bumper and a scuffed alloy wheel caused by other careless/useless drivers. Not happy :cautious:
 
Some good news in there at least. Some cars can be very sensitive to tyre pressures, especially heavy cars! Hope it works out for you and that people stop damaging it.
 
So simple things then? That's always a bonus lol. It never feels great if it cost a fortune :LOL:

Hopefully you'll get to se many a happy mile in it now!
 
HA. Bringing up this old thread because guess what? I've still got the Cougar!! She hasn't missed a beat, flew through her MOT with no advisories, she just keeps rolling. Just dropped some new oil in her and she's fit for another 10, 000 miles. Funny how I hated the car when I first got it and now I'm rather fond of the battered old thing. She's just clocked up 100,000 miles and still runs like a swiss watch. Happy :)

Not to mention that the base car its derived from is absolutely superb and as reliable as the day is long.
