South coast in a cougar
Well after just over 8 months my Cougar is finally back to full health and on the road....
Today she passed the mot with flying get colours with only an advisory on the rear tyres..... Still legal but have some cracking around the edges..... So 2 new ones on order.
She's insured and taxed too and it's been fantastic to get her out on the road listening to the rumble..... It's been a long time coming but she's there now.... Now just break her back in over the next couple of days.

Eight months?! I was twitchy at my V6 being out of action for two months!

Well done on the pass Ian. Put an aerobic weight on your right foot and get out there!

Thanks guys for the comments
It has been a long time coming but I wanted her back on the road right and not done on a budget..... Next major job after a couple of tyres will be sorting out a few little dings around the car and then maybe a complete respray.... This can be done at work for the cost of materials so it's not going to be expensive lol.... My boss is even trying to convince me on a complete colour change but I'm not too sure on that one.

Do it Ian, you know you want to

Have to admit I have been persuaded by the non standard colours that are in the club and Robs snowcat looks stunning

LOL your right there are some fantastic colours out there...... The one my boss is trying to talk me in to is a deep metallic copper orange..... It is a.fantastic colour but just not sure about it on my car. In all fairness he did find a picture of a cougar in the exact colour in the states and it looked really good..... But my gut feeling is no.
We did however recently paint a brand new Chopper in a really electric metallic blue to match the customers Aston Martin...... Now that colour I am really tempted with..... Or possibly metallic Scuderia red..... We have quite a bit of that in stock too lol

Nice one Ian, glad to hear your getting things done. As for a colour change - what about my favourite....Candy Apple Red
