Should keep some of you busy....

Great find. (y)
It's good to read they've moved the actual vehicles in the The Heritage Collection from Dagenham to Daventry; it could mean they are going to make them more accessible to the general public.
I've been somewhat frustrated in my previous attempts to organise a visit to see the collection. :censored:

Andy I did look last night on the site for contact details but just gives you American contact details, I will have a hunt about to see if I can see any other details 👍

Good luck Phil, I don't know if they're opening a new facility for the Heritage Collection in Daventry but Ford's nationwide parts distribution centre and their apprentices college are located there so they might be going to utilise part of the same site. (y)

Gotta love those early Capri’s
My Dad worked at Ford Halewood. Thanks to a school project and my mums letter writing skills I ended up with some original black and white Cortina Mk 2 press photographs copies, actual photo’s.

A club visit might actually remind them they made the Cougar.

Dad didn’t ever bring one of them home, shame really, maybe because he wasn’t in the transmission Dept. I’ve not heard of these models before but I remember the adverts well.
He told stories of various scams that took place, none of which I’ll retell here !

Phil, that’s Smashing. ;)(y)

I recognise the base as being the chromed version of an Escort wheel centre.
Looks like a chrome plated Rollo to me. Tasty. :)

Apparently, because the Heritage Collection is now housed on a 'working' site they won't be opening it to the general public.
The National Motor Museum at Gaydon have secured the loan of 7 vehicles from the collection, incl. an RS200, an Escort Cossie, and a MK2 Fezza XR2. They will be displayed together in the Welcome Gallery at the museum with the hope that it will become a 'rolling' display with a change of vehicles happening at unspecified intervals.
