iirc the original group buy from USA put us UKC in receipt of 10 complete roush ground effect body kits plus a few other bits ie 21mm rear ARB/bushes etc, but yesterday while fitting his kit, John (cougar-V6) and myself were considering where all the kits had gone.

The ones i know still exist in the club are:

My own - frosty
Procomm (Paul)- frosty
Dudette (Karen) - Blurple Phil Robbo originally fitted front valance and sideskirts only.
Lottysvdub - blurple
Now we have cougar-V6 frosty and i am assuming this kit came from our GB although the seller had not been a member here.


Where are they now?
RichK - frosty, was sold on to Ria but recently scrapped iirc but what happened to the kit?
jj/Jason Jones - Amazon green aka Bogey, again iirc bogey was involved in an accident but what happened to the kit? (I personally fitted the sideskirts and rear valance but no front valance)
M44TY - Ebony iirc but did he fit it? and where is it now?
tom_the_paddy - Ebony.

I also seem to remember another ebony but i can't remember the guys name, i did meet him once.

That does give a total of 11 kits possibly 11 so maybe there are/were more. I managed to find some by searching the forum. There are also odd spoilers kicking about ie: Wildv6, I also sold a spoiler on to another member but can't remember who it was. Did Stuart also have a kit?
Surely the scrapped ones did go to cougar heaven with the roush kits still attached?

i had a frosty that i bought from Ricardo on SCC that had a full kit on including fog light masks iirc, then i bought a new kit from someone in Notts? area and later sold that to Cougarbob that was front and rear valances and side skirts, along with a new eurostyle spoiler that i got from the states, i later sold the frosty back to Ricardo on SCC and he still has it as far as i know he's owned it virtually from new, don't know if they were in original group buys but that's a couple kits
 
Interesting thread Al,
The more I get to know Cougars the more I like the Roush kits, especially the spoilers, I think they suit a Cougar perfectly, the way the sides of the spoiler 'follow' the side lines of the car is great.........

Maria's kit was sold away from the club. I have a feeling it may be the kit that Alan bought as a spare.
 
My Roush spoiler came from JJ's old Tango cougar, which JJ had sprayed for me...think that was you Al, wasn't it? I would in the future love to have the full Roush kit, but really don't think I could afford to spend too much on my coug, as she needs lots of other bits doing first.

You could be right Kully. The paint job was plasticised and it showed in the deteriation. I also recognised the ROUSH stickers on the side skirts.

I did have a roush spoiler sprayed ebony for you Tim.

Btw, i just remembered, iirc Paul.p had a roush kit on his green V6.
 
That's where the kit ended up, Alan you still hoarding :) I know it was sprayed by a bodyshop in some flexible type paint. See you had the wheels as well, shame you still only got the 2 ltr block (n) :)
Miss the Cougar, shame it was scrapped :(
