Can anyone tell me what that is on the side of the front bumper? I'm thinking air-intake....although, isn't it in the wrong place? I can see from the rear quarter glass that it's a UKGOUGAR.COM car - anyone on here own it?
sure that car came with us to fordfair the year we had the ice cream van next to our pitch had a lot of red piping under the bonnet aswell if it is the same one
Yes. In fact it almost couldn't be in a worse place because the speed of airflow is so high there.
Ideally the intake wants to be as close to the stagnation point (area of highest pressure) as possible. I'm guessing that's why many people put them in the lower front grille or even sacrifice their foglights.
On the side of the car like that, the best he could've done is use a NACA duct.
But either way, it's marginally better than standard... unless someone decides to jam an apple in there!
