Stereo

Hi, I really want to replace my standard cdplayer with somthing with touchscreen, and don't really want to begin making a mess just to fit a 2 DIN stereo, so I was wondering if something like this ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/XOMAX-XM-DT...ie=UTF8&qid=1403021211&sr=1-1&keywords=stereo ) would fit or just end up a catastrophe.
Couldn't find any pictures of such a setup on the internet so.. Hope you guys have the answer

Hi, I was just wondering if a single din cdplayer such as this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-KVT...e=UTF8&qid=1403024748&sr=1-97&keywords=stereo would fit in the Cougar, or just crash in the Airconsystem above it. Couldn't find any pictures of it on google so I hope you have the answer

My very genuine advice would be to consider if you need DVD functionality? A lot of people buy in to it then realistically rarely if ever use it.

None of the flip up type will work in the cougar, the 2 din is not a lot of work to fit, I use mine mostly for satnav but I do put the occasional dvd in to watch

tools required are a sharp Stanley knife and patients, just keep scoring the plastic lip till you get through it then cut down the sidesto remove, offer up your head unit and see where else you need to cut away. I found it usefull to cut the front of the metal guide rail and fold the front down to make it easier to push the stereo back
