I never imagined my car would look like this when I first bought it 2 years ago. My plan was to just get the bodykit, spray it Sliver, fit some wheels and do the exhaust.
This is what happens when the modding bug bites you. It is never ending and I am always looking to take it to the next level. Still got so many things I would like to do.
Who knows what the future will hold for it yet !!!

Fascinating Peter. Your car has always divided opinion, but everything you do always seems to be done to an immaculate standard. I'd love to see it in the metal one day.

Some great pics there Peter! I wouldn't want to think how many hours you must have put into doing all that................

I am sure you will oneday, I am working on trying to make it to Chris ( Warthog ) funeral, so with all the people who are attending, it is a good chance for me to finally meet alot of the forum members. There are a few who I have had crossed words with in the past and it is a perfect time to put all that behind and look to the future. After all that is what it is all about. Remember the good times, and look to building friendships. With any luck I can amend a few wrongs at the same time.

looking good peter, its amazing what you have now to what you had!always the same even my old cat looked different to when i first got it,even though i never went to the extremes you have had to go to.the good news is this time iam happy how my new car looks lol

Yes I do agree. The only regret I have is I never got a pic of it as standard. I did not even think about it because I never planned all this.
The problem was I moved so fast in the begining with buying mods for it. I will enjoy this because I will never do this again to a car. My next car will be something alot more sensible and boring I guess.

i said that as well then i bought the mondeo, started with the fried eggs then the alloys, bought side skirts for it had a rear bumper lined up for it but sold it as it just wasnt me.got the other one and no plans to modify it as it would just look to cheesy.but never say never peter you just never know what will happen further down the road lol

Well the fried eggs were the very first thing I did to the car as well. I think that is how it starts with most people. I do not think it would be cheesy if you did mod your car and why not, you never know what the future holds.

Nice set of pictures Peter, like yours my car isn't to everyone's taste but the work you have had done looks to be a fantastic standard.

Nice words in the original post most long standing people on here have had the odd cross word be good too see you at a gathering this year.

Cheers Jase, there are one or two who will be at the funeral that I have not seen eye to eye in the past. I am not one to hold a grudge and it will be a perfect chance to meet these people and put the past behind. We are all grown adults Jase and I would like to think a handshake will be enough to move on. I should know by the end of this coming week if I can make it to the funeral.

Excellent thread Peter..and clearly no loss of sense of humour lol.

Past differences certainly seem unimportant, particularly at the minute, don't they?

Great work

Firstly, you made me laugh with the title, using that 'Cream cracker' reference, it takes the sting out of the tail as I mentioned a long time ago when you took offence.
Secondly, I can't believe that anybody would hold a grudge and bring it to the fore at Chris's funeral, that's a day to celebrate Chris's life and mourn the fact that we'll never see him again. I am sure he'll be proud to look down and see so many people cared.
Thirdly, we all have different ideas of how our cars should look, sometimes it's a clear vision from the start, other times the intention is there and it bumbles along over time until it's fashioned into the vehicle we see today, quite often though, it's quite accidental. Once you started, the direction seems to be intentional, the execution seems to be very well carried out. It's not what everybody would do, including myself, but that is what makes it your car and you should be proud of it.
My favourite part of this thread is the title though, brilliant, welcome to the club.(y)(y)(y)

Cheers Si, and yes, I have been guilty of not having a sense of humour in the past when it came to my car but that is only because I have taken it so seriously and worked so hard to make it what it is today.
And this is why I feel so strongly about trying to make the effort to go to the funeral, it is a show of respect. I might not always agree with everyone, but I do respect people and what they say. With anyluck I can make it and make things right for the future.

Thanks for that. This is why I have posted this up. Everyone is in a sad place right now, and I know the product reference towards my car made people smile and laugh. Life is way to short, this has been highlighted more than ever this week. There have been many things said by all in the past which if we all look back should never have been said in the first place, so hopefully a few hand shakes and hello's will sort all that out. This event, even though a very sad day will also be a great celebration of a great man and his life and his car.

A good history of what you've done to your cat since you bought it. As has been said - not to everyone's taste (but that's called individuality) - but nobody can deny the quality and amount of work that has gone into it and the pristine condition your cat is kept in (y)
