Decided get a cougar not probe this time.. just parted with a puma 1.7 zetec-s.

Cougar is a standard 2.0 v reg black with 113k miles.

Probs
Driver door dropped.. needs new hinge bushes.. where can i get?
Rear drop link bush im told.. so back end noise on bumps.

Needs break discs n pads fitted as i think the ones on it are ok.. but dont look to awsome tbh lol.

Other than that its a great car tbh .. 10m mot wich is handy.
Anyone have a link to a manual coz i dont know the engine really.. and there is some strange digital buttons to do with reset n stuff?? Units lol.. is that fuel consumption converter or something?

Also lol

If i get v6 fog lamps.. how easy they to fit up to the dash? Anyone done? Im assuming the v6 has a seporate fog lamp button???

Hello and welcome to the home of the big cat (y)

Engine is a 'Blacktop' Zetec - so if you get a Haynes manual for a '99-on Mk2 Mondeo, that should cover everything engine wise (same lump). As for the rest, there was never a Haynes manual for the Cougar - but that's no problem.....UKCougar is the only manual you need ;)

Fog lamps on a Zetec is a piece of cake. All the wiring is in place, just fit them then replace the headlight switch with one from a V6. Job done (y)
