All he had to do was Google it! It's interesting to watch the thought process and problem-elimination. Can't help but giggle when we know the solution.

oh for god sake...turns a 10 min fix into a 40.

i love the way he starts stabbing the idle valve with his pliers..and perhaps he should fix the leaking crancase hose valve first as that would also affect it....extra air getting in.

a quick internet search would reveal a fix from ford and varios experts and explain the problem.
i understand that sometimes things can get u stumped but this guy already knows its the valve causing the noise...and admits to having an air leak in the pcv hose...so fix it rather than talk about it.

No man is an island. We don't exist alone and asking for help and advice doesn't make you weak.

I'm all for making better fixes, but I can't abide people who re-invent the wheel for no reason.

My moosing sounded different to that

the sound in the video is distorted due to the air leak from the PCV valve, because the density of the air is lowered by the leak the resonance frequency is increased making a higher pitched noise. the Antimoose pipe some people fit increases the density of air in the system which decreases the resonance frequency lowering the pitch of the noise so it is in audible to the human ear (y) Replacing the IACV is the only way to fix the issue anything else is a bandaid
