We nick any car .com

We put our Fiesta on there a couple of years ago for a giggle, after having heard how shocking they were. After being honest about the minor crease in the rear wheelarch, they offered us.... £99! Less an arrangement fee of up to £49! This was for an 04 reg Mk 6 Fiesta Ghia TDCi 5dr, about 6 years old at the time with about 90,000 miles on the clock.

This is only one side of the coin though. Most people have heard of CarCraft, I presume. A quick browse of their website http://www.carcraft.co.uk shows both their sticker prices and their finance rates to be on the high side. What you may not know is that CarCraft was founded in 1951 by a chap called Frank McKee and subsequently bought out in 1998 by his sons Noel and Darren McKee, the same Noel and Darren McKee who founded http://www.webuyanycar.com in 2006.... Now, call me suspicious, but I'd wager that a fair few of the newer, more presentable cars that WBAC buy at rock-bottom then end up in a CarCraft showroom being sold on at top-whack. The profit margins must be immense.

I had no idea. I applaud your healthy cynicism, sir.

Would explain why when I ran my neighbour's (pre-registered) 62-plate S-Class Merc through their site, they offered £6K.

I wish I was kidding.

carcraft weren't they in league with yescarcredit, seem to recall carcraft went to the wall a while back then resurfaced a few years later?? supplying dodgy cars with high finance costs over long periods to the people who could least afford it, might be wrong, just at back of mind

We steal any car, thieving bunch of $#*"# tbh, i got a car valued by them last year and didn't go through with it, and they wouldn't leave me alone. until i told them in no uncertain terms to go forth and multiply !!!

Their tv add makes me laugh.... not !!!
