I'm okay with the standard ones, but the Previous Owner spanked them on the kerb.

yes you should be, thats the main reason i swapped from 35 - 40 not a huge difference in speedo calculation think it was about 4mph out at 30 going upto 8mph out at 90

Glad you finally got the replacements you always wanted.

I'm also confused on your choice of tyre size, 225/40/18 would have been better and safer on our pot-holed roads. Keep the tyre pressures up just in case.

The Tyre sizes was the package that was .... or ... thats the size the package was .... or the package size was that what was ... or .... now I`m confused .... however the good point being the value of the car has probably doubled now.

35's look great. My old /Ria's Cougar is on same tyres, or was. Jarring ride but worth it. Think i ran them at 38psi.

Big difference is ours is still on stock suspension, ride feels fine.
