who carries a full size spare ?

Hi. just wondering as I'm considering getting a full size spare alloy.
I am wondering what people do about fitting it in the boot space, as the carpet will have to be lifted about 2 inches or so.

Just be careful what type of tyre you have fitted to the spare. You'll need a non-directional/non-asymmetric tyre which are pretty hard to find these days.

alternatively use the normal spare and keep a full size spare in the shed / garage

I got a foam insert from a mk2 mondeo which levels the boot out so I can carry a full size spare
