Continuing my series of idiot questions...

My nearside winglet came off when I washed my car. It was held on with tape and the clips were broken.

Kully and Steve Morris have both told me that my car has been blown over on the nearside (probably factory correction, definitely not a crash) and it looks like they're right. So I assume the winglet was removed and replaced and the locking tab was broken in the process.

But are they normally taped on as standard?

I think they are, but not 100%. I have some tape here if you want to slap it back on tomorrow matey :)

Thank you both! I did wonder.

I've put it back on with HT gel tape now though, so it's not going anywhere now. Like, ever.

LOL - apologies for the shorthand; I of course meant you, Steve! Sarah Jessica Parker isn't classy enough to own a Cougar. She travels around in a horse box.

Cheers Kully - when I start experimenting I'll keep you in mind!
