That's pretty amazing, and a stunning looking car.

This bit got my attention. :eek:

Move the roof and windscreen eight inches forward and four inches down. Get another front sub-frame and front Mcpherson struts, and put them in the back. Take the engine and gearbox from the front, and put it in the back.

LOL yeah that bit is a bit scary!!!
but I did like the bit about all the machines and blueprints etc are sitting in a warehouse in Detroit!!! would be good if someone could purchase as a job lot and get new parts made for us!! :cool:
 
Don't know what to make of it. I see another 5 stud conversion though, maybe we should approach one of these firms and ask about a deal. I dunno, Cougars being made into Ferrari's, Bugatti's, custom Sports cars?? Seems like a future milestone in kit car production!
 
Not sure on those rear tail pipes, If they could move them to the bottom so they came out from between the diffuser like the Focus RS....oh and lose the C1 interior too ;)
A cheaper alternative maybe to a NOBEL?
 
I like it and...I would want one! lol It still has plenty of "Cougar" within it. I like the concept of moving the engine to the rear, meaning it must now be rear wheel drive (unless I missed something?). I think Kully is right, maybe we ought to make contact with these guys???
 
It's rear wheel drive as they mounted a second front subframe in the rear with the hubs etc off the front too. The downside to that is it sounds like this thing is running 4 x wishbones - OUCH!!

I e-mailed the company to say 'good effort' and to tell them I posted it on the forum for feedback, so yeah maybe we should contact them, also they did say they might consider producing bodykit's for the cougar which might be a good route, if like me you dont fancy moving anything structural lol
