Zetec plenum comparison please

I am soon going to be putting the oem box back on cat4 in favour of the induction kit.

There is a distinct possibility i may have to forgo my front strut brace, but ideally i would like to keep both.

I have been advised that the brace will foul the plenum.

Does anyone have a shot similar to those below to give me some idea how a the oem set up compares for fitment, so i can perhaps gauge as to whether i may be able to squeeze the plenum under my strut brace.

i know, but thats the best fit with the kit which is on the car.

I know i've got a cougar photo somewhere Si, but i can't find it, so this is my old mondeo mk1. Same layout as the cougar. I think you'll need to get the strut brace off to fit the plenum, and swap it for something like the sparco. Does Mart make one for the standard zetec?

SPARCO brace.

its the only one mart does at the moment. I think it may fit over the plenum but will be touching it....will that cause issues?

Si, did you use your old V6 brace or do you have one of Mart's Zetec ones fitted?

its a zetec specific one Manos....

The one on the v6 stayed on the V6

It's the only sure way Si, unless you buy a zetec specific brace.
