0-60 Runs at Ford Fair 2011

I guess thats why the ST200 has a cleaned out UIM then to release some valuable horses. I do wonder though if the UIM isn't the one part of the engine that drags it down, yeah it was obviously optomized at some point when the engine was designed, but that could be for an efficent power delivery or emmisions/economy etc. Not all out power?
Untill someone fits an alternative inlet manifold though we will never know. (it has been the norm in tuning circles to change inlet pipes to gain power as can be seen from the Zetec boys manifolds)

.....but we will do soon eh Dave :)

I've added a fair bit of weight with the leather interior, and strut braces, body kit etc. If I come in the low 7's I will be happy, but even happier if I'm quicker than you:beer:

I was blessed with GG - she was one in a million Dave. Ran her with just a 57i and a Blueflame and she pulled a very respectable 7.9 at her first ever Ford fair :)

Spent a fortune on her with the ST200 stuff and stainless headers but she never got to run another 0-60 before she died  reckon she would have been sub 7 easy.

Since being forced into putting the ported and polished ST200 lump in I have been very disappointed and still don't think The Phoenix is any faster than GG was. She should be pulling in sub 7s but to be honest mate - I'll be more than happy with another 7.9

I've put a fair bit of time and money into my engine since last years ford fair so I've got to be honest, I will be a tad disappointed if I can't shave half a second of last years time. I've got 3 sprint tickets and if I'm impressed with my times after the 1st 2 I think I will let steph have a go, she realy wants to but she's also a little scared bless her
