15000 mile cougar

Whilst the driver seat looks quite good and the car looks really very clean, an average of 1150miles ish a year is not my idea of a great buy. It's spent the majority of the last 14 years stood still. That won't have done it many favours unless it was keep indoors etc. Also, no shot of the speedo and no mention of the ludicrous low miles in the write up. You'd sure as heck be using that as a sales point? Would be interesting to see the miles confirmed though.

15,000? No pic of the odometer, I suspect it might be a typo and the true mileage is 150,000. Of course, if it is only 15k then it might go some way to explaining to eye-watering asking price.

I wouldn't either. That's the same part of south Wales I bought my firdt Cougar. It's a dump. Averaging just over 1000 miles per year is bad. Really bad, unless carcooned like Chris Evans' Ferrari 250 and lets be honest, it ain't a car anyome's going to keep warm and dry.

I agree Jamie. Whilst a very very low mileage example would make for a good collectors piece, it wouldn't be a good choice as a daily driver.

Its probably an old grandad car used once a week likely on a Sunday at 30mph just to pee everybody else off. the secondaries are probably weldd shut through lack of use.

Steve will be off to fulfil his dream of having the most mint and clean Cougar in the country lol. When you going for the test drive??

Just a couple of things I've noticed - the seats look tidy but is that wear I can see on the steering wheel? Also, what's with the handsfree phone mount for a car that hardly ever moved according to the mileage? Doesn't add up to me

The phone holder might have been fitted when new John in fairness. It's for a 6210 by the looks of it and they were an option available through dealers.
