2.5l v6 24v engine i.d.s

hello can anyone tell me the differance between v6 24v engine,s one engine starts with SEA ------,the other starts with what looks like LCA-------. I would grateful for any info to explain the differance.
Is it one is for Monado and the other Cougar

They are the same as one another.

Don't know much about the IDs but Mondeo/Cougar engines are identical except the Cougar engine has a knock sensor and the Mondeo doesn't. The Mondeo engine doesn't have the right thread (too large) in the block for the sensor so ideally get a Cougar engine. Otherwise some work will need to be done on the block to make a smaller thread.
