3rd Cougar after a long break

Hi all
just joined the forum. I have just bought my third cougar, and am pretty chuffed and excited about it!
I had two from 2003-2006, both V6s and unmodified.
This one is a stunning well loved v6 that has some mods done.

It's been a long time so I'm getting used to it again.
I'd be interested in any advice in terms of initial things to look out for / check for that are common new owner school boy errors
also any recommendations for insurance that people here use, especially those with mods, would be most appreciated

The seller was good enough to give me a number of spare/extra parts that he didn't get round to using /fitting, including fuel tank straps and front and rear struts.

It's had a few mods done including body kit, lowered, and st200 manifold.

I'm going to have a good browse through the forum and try to find my way round...

Rear subframe and/or sill corrosion are becoming quite prevalent now so it would be well worth your while getting underneath and having a good poke around.

There are two or three insurance brokers affiliated to the forum; their details can be found in the relevant section.

Would be good to see the photos.

Rickys went to melton mowbray, i dropped a spare bonnet of to Toni last week, recognised it straight away. Her frosty suffered a catastrophic bonnet failure, so not sure if it can be saved

Tony, there's a couple of T-CNO's in the reg list but that one doesn't appear.

The one Tony seen was Ady's from the facebook group, and this one is the one had.
I cant say how pleased I am that she has been passed into good hands.
