Time will be tight over the next few days, so just wanted to say a Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone on here.

To say I was unsure of buying a Cougar at first, I now have two and met a number of people I now count as friends.

While a lot of people have been incredibly kind to me in the 6 months I have been a member, there are a few who have helped out that little bit more.

In no particular order..................... I would like to particularly thank Bobster - this guy even helped me out before I subscribed by changing my rear drop links. Didn't know me from Adam, but helped out regardless. Just shows what type of person he is.
That help has continued ever since and i am looking forward to a few beers next week!

Next up, Pid_16v. He played host to fix-fest which was an event designed for a few members to get help with their cars, when it turned out to 98 per cent be work on my cat. On top of that, he has given me countless items of good advice which have saved me a fortune and is an all round top bloke. His Mrs (Vonny) has the patience of a saint for allowing me and others to invade their house and drive way so she deserve a thankyou as well.

Charliecd001 - lives on the other side of the world, but has travelled a number of times to help me out which is incredible really. Also, came up with some tyres and a few other parts for me at mates rates lets say.
On top of that, he did the engine swap on my second cougar, and what a top job he and Nick (the Bolton mafia) did.

Dogsboby - okay, so I was his cat's personal body guard for six months as I policed his home town, but he has also travelled up and down the M1 etc to give his services to help me out - most notably for fixfest at Pid's.
Supplied by induction kit and both HID sets and has always been on the end of MSN and texts to help out.

dyg3474 - another one who has helped me out a number of times, both in person, on the forum and over the phone. Another one who has travelled hundreds of miles at his own expense simply to help me. Incredible. Then, he goes and buys a goosed a c2, in the knowledge he had a c2 engine on stand-by and sold it to me.

casscougar - what can i say? Discounted parts, group buys, general all around good guy who has also often gone out of his way to help me and many many others.

Sorry if I have missed anyone out, not intentional, but these guys have been incredible particularly and I wanted to say a massive thankyou, both for the help on my car and for helping ensure this forum is a fun place to be.

I would just like to echo scunny's thoughts and wish everyone out there a Very Merry Christmas and a very Healthy, Wealthy and Prosperous New Year.
I have owned my car since February 2009 and touch wood, have never had a problem with it, but, I feel sure that if any circumstance should arise where I need to ask for assistance, it will gladly and promptly be given. I feel I have got to know quite a few good friends here at ukcougar.com even though I have never met any of you. Looking forward to the Scots meet in April when I WILL meet a few of you and finally put faces to the names. It's just a pity that we are so far away from the majority of members up here in Bonnie Scotland or else there could have been one helluva bash in April next year.
All the very best to each and every one of you and your families.
