I had this - is it an intermittent fault or permanent ? Mine was intermittent and was only cured by replacing the ABS control unit.
Was at 1st but permanent now.thought the diagnostic would tell me which cornwe but no fault found.
I believe that is because the ABS pump has it's own self-contained ECU and if that has packed-up it can't send any fault codes.
To accurately check the ABS diagnostics, it needs to go on a full diagnostics computer due to a separate ECU as Andy mentioned. You can't read ABS just off an ELM style code reader or handheld. Needs to be a proper full safety systems reader and checker.
