altering milage on my cougar

even so bud you can't change the mileage on the car just because you have put a new engine in and fitted some new bits. just out of interest what would you use to change the mileage?

My laptop and a unix based program that interrogates eeprom

Its not about selling the car, when I am done with it it will be scrapped as it is worth next to nothing.

Oh... I hope you didn't think I was implying that mate. I'd never suggest you'd try to lie about your car's mileage, for sale or otherwise.

I was thinking more that I would want to keep track of everything and not just the motor.
