This might come as a bit of a surprise but I've decided to sell my Cougar and a thread will appear in the relevant section in due course.

I have no intention of leaving here or changing my involvement with the forum and will continue with my admin duties for as long as required.

No doubt you have your reasons! but the way this is heading people on here that actually own and drive a cougar must be in a minority, sad for you Andy I would of put you down as a hard core cougar man.

I saw that coming, Andy you seem to have been giving / selling car parts off which if you were keeping the car, you would surely keep?

Anyway Andy, I'm just glad you're staying about :) wouldn't be the same without you :)

Now I'm off to the for sale section :)

Sorry to hear that Andy, you have always been very helpful in all respects so i do hope you carry on here even if you don`t run a cougar anymore.
 
Wow that is quite a shock Andy. I'm sure you have your reasons but most importantly, glad to hear you're still going to be around the club. (y)
 
Couldn't agree more; great bloke to have around, Cougar or not.

And in a fit of unrestrained self-interest, without you and your lady wife, Coombe doesn't happen. The efforts you've put in over the years have been greatly appreciated, and I hope you're happy to carry on.
 
I was privileged enough to have prior knowledge of this announcement. Andy's first post says it all - he'll be around as long as required, and required you most definetly are mate! A cracking bloke who it is also my privilege to call my friend - frankly I couldn't care less what you're driving I love ya just the same! In a straight manly way of course! I was surprised when i first heard the news from Andy, and i am still surprised. I suppose it's just one of those things guys, for whatever reason we all move on at some point or another and in our own various ways. The point here is, imo, the Cougar once again is what brings us all together here, and it binds us here, while we own our cougars and when we make changes. The people are what really count here and friendships have been made, some for life.
Best of luck with whatever you have moved on to Andy and we'll see you back here next year looking for another one :);)
 
Surprised is an understatement!!! You are one of the stalwarts of the club, but, you will obviously have your reasons for such a decision. Glad to hear that you are staying around though.
 
Glad your sticking around and best of luck with the sale but sometimes it's good to change.
 
Thanks everyone for all the kind comments; the people here are really very, very special.

I know I'll probably live to regret my decision but I've been around here for long enough and made so many wonderful friends along the way that no matter which Ford I drive I will always feel part of the UKC family.
