An announcement.

Thanks everyone for all the kind comments; the people here are really very, very special.

I know I'll probably live to regret my decision but I've been around here for long enough and made so many wonderful friends along the way that no matter which Ford I drive I will always feel part of the UKC family.
Andy i know exactly what your going through , but eventually we will all have our own reasons to move on whether its a good one or not. Life has to move on, but as you say friendships can last a lifetime and it would be hard to find a better lot than here anywhere.
And if all else fails then i will stand in the corner with you (y):LOL:

Mike,as long as I have your Cougar you are always welcome to visit and take it for a drive when you can!
But, yes sometimes you have to move on, and Andy call in here anytime if you want to reunite with a Cougar!

Hey Andy, only just got caught up with all the latest news etc. I can honestly say that I didn't see that one coming either, however, I know some of the 'why' with you selling. I have seriously been thinking about this with my coug, I've talked it over with Rach and honestly don't think I could part with it. I'm sad that I don't have the time nor money to spend on mine as I would wish, which is one of the reasons I was thinking about parting with my coug. Anyway, I wish you all the best and am pleased that you will still be around. As others have already said, you are a great friend (and Karen too) and Rach and I would always be pleased to see you and catch up, no matter whether you have a coug or not. Cheers, Tim.

I'd like to add that if you have to move on from the car, it doesn't mean that you need to move away from the community.

No-one is a traitor just because they don't own a Cougar anymore. The important thing is that they never forget us, what we did for them, and where we are.
