Hi all

Can anybody tell me the ball-park expected lifetime of the ARB drop-links ? I replaced one on the front last year, now I have one on the back needs doing.
Are they something that needs doing every couple o'years ? Or can I expect 5 years or more ? Just wondering.

Cheers

Depends on the quality of the replacement parts. I've had Delphi ( supposedly good quality) drop links fail after 12 months. I've also had cheapo ones fail in less than 3 months.

depends on the type of road and how often you drive your car, best practice is to replace as a pair and they are only cheap (y) I usually get about 2 to 3 years out of a set of front drop links and an extra couple of year out of the rears but I have front and rear strut braces fitted and punish my car on the windy b roads :devilish:

I have replaced my front ones twice in 3 years and my rear ones the same as well. I also run front and rear strut braces as well. I find they do not last very long but I am guessing that is there job on the car as well, to take all the punishment from our fine UK roads.
