a big thanks to aall that helped we all deserve a pat on the back

Please don't use hammerite under your car, it just doesn't last !, when i rebuilt my lotus from bare chassis up, all metal parts were blasted clean, treated with the hammerite special metal primer, then given 3 coats of the paint, 6 months later & it had all but worn off, & it happened to a lot of us, not just me. Shutz is pretty good if you know anywhere that does it, but yearly going over with waxoil is the best. If you intend keeping your car & want to invest & have it done properly, take it to Rustmaster, they use professional waxoil, & get in all the wings etc with thin flexy spray bars & it has a special infa red dye in it so they can see if theve missed any, cost was £300 with a bit of negotiating.

well done and enjoy (y), think a lot of mot places are covering themselves when they say chassis rails have surface rust etc, most mass produced cars of 11years or so will have odd bits of surface rust

Well more work done today I could not wait
