Very true Al.
Mind you having had one its nice to feel smugly self-satisfied for appreciating something others don't.

The poor old Probe gets a bad press, I thought it was a beautiful looking car and faster than the Cougar too I reckon.
I quite like the rarity of the Cougar. I enjoy driving something that people don't recognise simply because she's so unique!
Only problem I have is when I tell people its a cougar(who arent looking at it) they think its a kuga

Even though she's just a Mondy, her shape is sublime and I get asked (mainly by my security guys at work because they have to log her in as something) what sort of Jag/Aston she is.
I always say "Mercury Cougar".
Right on the money Chris, there is something quite smug about being in traffic in something your not going to see every five mins coming the other way eg a BMW coupe, Audi, coupe or Merc, and of course it is such fun watching the double take looks and over hearing bar room experts explaining its a smal jag based on a Mondeo !, and of course by removing the ford badge it adds to the confusion![]()
