Just a quick query, will an aftermarket performance exhaust of an Automatic cougar v6 fit directly onto a manual? Or is there some modification/fabrication required?

It should be a direct fit, just check that the flange that bolts to the flexi is a 2 or 3 blot on your car before you buy one. then make sure the system you buy is the same..

Exhuast is from the cat back so the flexi doesn't matter. Rear flange on the cat is always a 2 bolt.
