As you may or may not know, my v6 has lost a load of fluids, from bad maintenance or just failure im not sur but everything is low.

Whats the best way to find out were its coming from?

I was thinking gunking the engine on a dry day and seeing what happens first?

Place cardboard under the engine bay on the floor and that will tell you the area it is leaking from, or it will give you a good idea where to look.

which fluid level are you losing, if the engine bay is covered in oil it would need to be cleaned before you would be able to find or trace a leak as if engine bay is covered in oil you would struggle to find where its coming from, as it would be dripping everywhere, is there a distinct colour to fluid being lost, if you could give some more info it would help

from a previous thread he posted the colour is the same as atm fluid,so if its an auto its either the box or the steering

Try removing the under tray so that any drips fall straight on to the floor rather than them collecting on the tray and then dripping off at the lowest point.
