The C2 HVAC needs the icon bits surrounding the knobs replacing as the green tint is built into the surrounds. Al uses silver vinyl to replace them. I'll take some pics when I get a chance so you can see what I mean. Technically speaking, it's no longer a C2 HVAC when the conversion is done

A bit late again today but, basically the C2/C1 HVAC difference is only the facia. The actual HVAC is identical. I've got a C2 facia here somewhere, only the colour and the blacked out symbols are different to the C1. They both have to be butchered for the conversion.
