Just to give you a little insight into what i'v been getting up to during my time in Lancashire on my wholetime firefighter recruits course.
As most of you will know, i joined the Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Service at the start of 2007 as a retained Fire Fighter, giving commitment of responding to an alerter whilst still doing fulltime employment in the engineering trade & also trying to keep the wife & kids happy, it also affected me being unable to fully attend shows with the club.
But now i'v passed out on the wholetime course, i'v gained even more skills than i originally had whilst also improving my core skills even further & even getting myself to a pretty decent level of fitness
The course brought together recruits from different parts of the UK & Ireland, friends i got very close to during the month's away, guys that were always their to support right through til the end, became quite emotional when it came to farewells, knowing that it'l be difficult to get together again.
Anyway, here's in pictures just what we got up to, as you would probably have guessed, i always managed to have a bit of fun along the way!
