Bonnet Bra- Opinions.......?

I have a bra on my van,been on since new,if you follow instructions it is fine. remove and clean every couple of weeks so no paint damage!
The idea of a bonnet bra ,so i surmise ,is the bonnet is metal,so would rust if chipped,whereas the bumpers are plastic .
 
if the paints sound there's no reason at all it should damage it , most of the bras have a soft lining to protect against marking the paint ! mine has one on occasionally , cos it'll be a bugger to rectify if it gets chipped , can't just touch up a carbon painted bonnet !! lol

however , my cars black , not sure about it on a frosty though !

as ive said before its not ment as a fashion statement, hence the fact it'd be taken off at end of a drive
I no its not attractive at all but is there to serve a purpose to stop stone chips etc as it is a daily driven car

Already come to the conclusion it will be coming off anyway as statements of use have led me to believe it may cause more damage than it would protect anyway tbf
 
Im sure theres a clear vinyl stone guard available, they stick em on the front of tvrs to protect the paint from chips, due to the fact how much the paint is per litre........now that would make u cry!
 
Was having a laugh with that one but honestly why would you have a car and then dress it up to stop stone chips etc? Where would you stop to protect it?i would rather have a few stone chips than ruin the looks of it with ott protection gizmos

I no mate i was jus leg pullin lol
N im lookin into a respray that with cost enough to bring tears to my eyes if stonechips wreck it straight away as it is n always will be a daily driven car, had 2 cars for a year now n just cant justify the expenditure so its the coug as daily car or to be sold.
