I've got a spoiler for my boot lid does anyone know of a glue or way of bonding it without drilling the lid as it has o fixings advice appreciated thanks

i'd prefer it bolted myself , my upper spoiler has no mounts , so tiger sealed it , a couple of hours later me and my mate tried to move it , not a chance , think it's on for good :)

sent from the mobile thingy !!

It depends on how much surface area you have to bond and how Much pressure it will be subjected too. I personally would not just glue a spoiler down to the boot skin which flexes with just two feet platforms.

I tiger sealed a spoiler to a 3 series beemer a couple years ago and the spoiler was well and stuck

Also a more stable boot lid with less flex, I'm not saying it will come off in saying no way would I do it, imagine the claim if it came off at 70-80 on a motorway why chance it when it's easy to put some studs in.

Cheers for replys it's on now I used extra strong contact adhesive it has three legs to glue it well and truly on
i put three screws in as well to make sure

Good stuff lets see a picture then ;) always nice to have a little something more than just adhesive.
