C2 dashboard question

Good man Al. To say that only 440 (I think) C2s were ever registered in the UK, I think at least one two components from the majority of them must now have homes in this club!

Rich - I have/will have a complete leather C2 interior for sale early next year if you're interested (or just the seats if you wish)

I may be interested in the seats mate. As in I want them, but I'll have to see whether I have the required funds available at the time.

See if Alex wants to drive down and swap you the C2 seats for them bucket seats you've got in your spare room Rich. You said you weren't gonna be using them

Alex, I would like to take second place in the queue with the same proviso of 'funds permitting'.

As much as C2 seats are nice, I'm perfectly happy with my heated and cooled leathers. I won't need a place in the queue

That's a matter of opinion! My wardrobe is a lovely place to be and has many mod cons. Certainly makes the Cougar feel an old car in some ways. Who knows, I might have another Cougar sometime unless the right old skool Ford comes along in which case the Cougar idea will stay exactly that and I'll be going back to basics with carbs, throttle bodies, distributors, fan belts, manual by ear tuning and all the lovely things that made me a petrol head!

You swipe 'em, I'll square you some alloys, we'll pay the wardrobe driving Indian looking bloke to take care of the Brummie and make it look like an accident. Job's a good 'un.

More a case of the Scouser has some "in stock" I think. Look at it as a "here's one I made earlier, or 2 as the case maybe!" ;)

Almost! Alex and I met up early this year and did 3/4 of the interior swap, with just the drivers' seats presenting a problem because they need the looms swapping across. We didn't do it there and then because the swap was being done in a pub car park and the snow was coming down rather heavily.

The last 'semi-firm' arrangement we had was that Paul Procomm would collect the remaining C2 driver's seat for me when he goes up to see Alex, I will then drive to Paul's and we'll finish the transplant into my car, finally I will courier my C1 driver's seat up to Alex so he has a complete C1 interior to flog (Alex now having bucket seats).

All that's left after that (C2 wise) is a pair of headlights.
