C2 speaker rings to C1 door cards

Hi, So I bought C2 door cards. I realized that they are completely black. At first I taught that they are just a little darker than C1, but in reality they are completely black. (I never sat in C2 in real life). So instead of changing whole door card, Im thinking to extract just those silver rings, and install them on C1 cards. Just to be exactly sure: will they fit my C1 door cards? I examined those rings, and they will not be hard to take off from C2 cards, so I just need to know if C1 has the same mounting holes for that speaker grill.

Could you not take off one of your C1 door cards and check the mounting holes against the C2 ones. You would have the evidence right there in front of you and could make your own mind up.

If they don't fit just blue tac them in place ... Job done

I have a lot of things going on this week, so this job is will be postponed for a few weeks, im just really currious, taught maybe someone had done it here.

I had to remove the rings from my c2 cards when i fitted the carbon fibre stuff but for the life of me, i can't remember for sure how they are fixed. The trim and panels are mostly plastic welded into position, i remember using an old soldering iron to melt out the plastic pegs and then re-melting to fit. I'll see if i have any photo's of the job i did.
