It's on the tip of my tongue. :D

MS Designs. If you'd looked up the bodykits thread it would have told you.

It was a slightly tongue in cheek question. If you had welcomed me into the club as many others had and actually read anything I have posted you might have figured that out.
Every time I read a post from you you're borderline flaming someone. I think it's a shame as you are well respected here.

Let's delete this thread; I'm becoming irate.

Unfortunately I don't get chance to welcome every individual. I have seen several of your posts and followed what you've done with your car though. My post wasn't flaming in any way, simply factual. Sounds like you were baiting though which won't do you favours.

Aside from which I answered your question anyway! And if you've paid some attention you'll see thy quite often I do help out even when the answers are readily available. The whole of the Admin and Mods team are forever reminding people to use search, not just me. If you're getting irate over that, you have issues mate.

come on Kully. He has a point. That could come across as imflamatory, whether it was intended to or not.

I think we have all learned on occasion that the written word doesn't always convey the context or emphasis of what you intended.

We should be embracing enthusiastic new members at a time when some would say (rightly or wrongly) things have been on a bit of a downward spiral.

We have all (including me numerous times) been guilty of duplicating threads, but the search button doesn't always work as you hope it might.

Look, I don't want to get into a flame war here, it's counter productive and there's no winner. That's why I suggested a deletion.
I posted as not only am I curious about the kit, but thought a cat covered in goodies as this one is, for £300 might be worth a chat. I am now sorry I bothered.
If I want to be condescended to I'll phone my MP. :bomb:

-Edit- As Scunny suggests I am quite enthusiastic - that in itself is becoming an uphill battle.

If I wanted to be flaming if have simply put "Use search" and locked the thread, or worse deleted the thread. Being conscious that the OP is relatively new, I put the answer along with the info about bodykit thread and searching so anyone else looking and unaware of bodykits etc may just go "oh, there are kits available? I'll have a look".

We can't know everyone's mindset, personality etc can we?? I'll remember to put loads of :)'d next time so we all now I was happy when I made the post? I didn't see it as flaming I simply thought "that's the MS Designs kit, maybe this chap doesn't know we have a whole section about them?" I don't know him from Adam??

Of the new posts and moderation queues etc that I have to plough through, it was just a quick easy reply as it was unanswered. Really now, is this necessary?? Plus telling me about getting irate? How do admin and mods feel when threads are randomly started just for the heck of it to then just get deleted??

How was I to know that car is up for sale or otherwise too?? If it is, and for that money, snap it up, break it and profit!! You can't lose, if you haggle and get a better deal then even better.

Just to correct something, I was on my phone initially and the link didn't show up on Forum Runner. Can see it now I'm on my laptop so apologies there.

My intention was completely the opposite of the way it was taken. Another example of the written word being exactly that. There are a few people here that will definitely vouch that if I was on one, it would have been a wholly different post lol :)

About the car, that's been on here some months ago too, same sort of ad. IIRC, a few people wanted to pull parts from it as the guy had stated about breaking if enough interest but he decided against breaking or wouldn't reply to people or something like that. I recognise it though as seen it around my way a few times. Must have been stood quite a while then as I'm sure it was a non runner last time it was advertised.

Mis-reads, and mis-interpretations do happen as we all know. On this occasion i have to say that Kully has done his best to bring this misunderstanding to the level. Go for the car James if it has that kit on it. That particular kit was worth a mint when new from Ford and probably cost more than most cougars are woth these days. (y)

This is why I'm putting forward the idea that we all meet around a large circular glass coffee table once a year with our crawler boards and telephone directories, just to smash out some issues

Is Dave THAT corrupt?

Mate you have no idea!! Dave is one of a few people who's sense of humour has a lower boundary than mine. That's proper low as you well know Truffmeister! Me and Dave famously had a "sick" joke off at fest a couple of years ago which was possibly the most offensive, non PC, hateful, spiteful, abusive and down right degrading joke session ever a at the end of it there was only a couple of people left with me and Dave, Tony was one of them. T'was the night we offended Gina too. Remind me when I see you and I'll tell you the joke that Matt frowned upon and departed the group!
