can you get a tailgate into the boot?

I haven't tried it, but was told before I got my replacement that it wouldn't without a major struggle.

So I just did a swap then and there (which worked out well for me and Lazybones anyway).

If I can transport a rear quarter halfway up the country im sure a tail gate can fit well enough to be transported.

You may have to tie your boot lid down and I would use lots of padding etc to protect the tailgate and your car

Bonnet is actually fairly easy. I found it worked best when put nose forward and slightly angled to the side. You have to finagle it a fair bit to get it to slide in just right but once in it is snug as a bug
