Not bad Al, the video goes a long way to conveying the actual speed we were travling at, If anything I think it shows me giving it a bit more beans than perhaps somepeople may think I was I certainly look like i'm more on the racing line in that last shot (ok I still get overtook)

Hey guys, I've just found another vid on Youtube of Iain, Matt and me being overtaken by a Suzuki Ignis at Castle Combe. The first two cars to be overtaken are me and Matt, then the 4 th car to be overtaken is Iain!! LOL!!!! 3 Coug's overtaken in one lap!!!! lol....Actually, if you watch the whole thing, that Suzuki overtakes all 3 of us TWICE!!! LOL

Great just been watching that on my phone (i'll have another look later on the computer, as its a bit dark in places) he does a couple of laps before he catches us up again, but yeah he must have been really motoring.

LOL...yeh, believe it or not, those Suzuki Ignis Sport's are only 115bhp. Think it was because of his car being small and light, was able to keep his foot on the accelerator and if you notice, he uses the same racing line all the way through, smooth and constant. Think he possibly knew the track, whereas we were having to learn as we went around it.

Too right, that first chicane I was like "oh Shi.." didn't realise there were any. Glad I kept my cool on that last bend before the start finish straight as thats the one everyone was loseing it on (remember the Prelude)

Steve why not come on track at Ford Fair?

My only concern about Silverstone is that the rebuild might not be finished in time .................. but then again........................it might

I think he was taking the michael mate! lol, I mean we weren't hanging around and his car was a hell of a lot lighter than ours and I think he knew the track quite well too. I'm just pleased we had a go and it was a bit of fun...even though I did cook my brakes a bit! Oops! lol

Been looking at another track day for novice drivers at Bedford Autodrome, looks a good track with no barriers to a crash into you get to go out several times in the day too, open pit style for about £160
