Cruise control is a very nice mod. Well done on getting it sorted Si.
John - you've got the most hard to come by component for cruise (unless you go for a Mondeo wheel). So get your back side in gear and get the remaining parts.

I was very lucky Manos.
Only briefly tested it due to the power steering pipes being extremely leaky.
Couple of little gremlins were erradicated by Rob.

Cat4 is away for some TLC. Dropped off at 9am and no call yet.....I feel a huge hit in the pocket coming....but a couple of mods are being completed at the same time
Bet you're finding that the worst part about cruise control is how utterly useless everyone else is at maintaining speed! Never a journey goes by without catching someone up on cruise control, drawing alongside (dual carriageway, obviously!) then failing to actually pass because the person you caught and almost overtook has put their foot down! Grrr!

You are exactly right Jamie.
Alan....the power steering pipes could not be successfully 'bodged' as the damage was extensive.
One drive shaft was not well and both front bearings were shot.
Coolant leak was being further investigated, as was the air con.
Don't get me wrong...the labour costs will be far far lower than any garage but still, 10 hours have gone by.
I gave Pete the green light to do whatever work he found needed doing.

Only a couple of simple ish cosmetic things matey....not important...the mechanicals had to be sorted.

Got cat4 back this morning...and my wallet is officially empty.
All essential stuff.
Anywho....finished off the c2 interior with the centre console....

I have already broken the gear knob! Its internals were very weak and have split. Doh.
