Cat4 x 4 - let the modding commence

I still need to put mine on! Never got round to insulating the inside yet, I bet it'll probably end up getting done about a day before whenever I next go to a show!

I used a sticky floor tile but it came unstuck after a few minutes. The tile was new out of the pack too. I sorted it with some superglue and has been fine for the two months it's been fitted.

Oh, and I did thorougly clean the grease off the steel cover first. (y)

Cat4 should be a little different by the time we go to blackpool.

She is off back to the paint shop as the work done earlier in the year has begun to fail.

It's being done under warranty.

New throttle body, custom built induction and front end lowering....oh and new brakes

The coug is booked back into the paint shop on September 7th.

Some of you may remember that both rear quarters were painted earlier in the year.

Well, one rear quarter is already looking decidedly second hand, with lacquer already peeling and after polishing the surface is really dull.

Had a devil's own job getting it sorted.

Emailed the shop with pictures and got an arsey email back from the owner's wife basically telling me tough ****.

So i had drive down and spoke to the organ grinder and made clear to him that a lot of business is won and lost on word of mouth.

It is being repaired under warranty.

Slight delay on getting the brakes done but its all in hand.

Calipers are painted black, though the finish is relatively poor.

Hey ho.

Went for Brembo discs and pads in the end.

Considering it was going to be £70ish for standard ish stuff, i though £104 for the Brembo stuff was a good buy.

Front end is being lowered when the brakes get done.

Still the trip to the paint shop on the cards, the more i look at the work previously done, the poorer it looks.

A couple more subtle decals at Blackpool hopefully, along with my custom intake which will incorporate the Focus Central throttle body, oem air box and a new fitment between the two.

After that....no more mods....honest

back from the paintshop, and both rear quarters are looking gleeming again.

Done under warranty because of the arse job done last time which didn't weather well!!

Had a couple of arguments along the way, especially with the paintshop owner's wife...stupid cow that she is.

Anywho.....a lot better now.

Brembo dics and pads and front end lowering next.

Then a couple of mods at Blackpool :)

She was looking decidedly third hand!

Disappointed I can't get to Blackpool the night before....but hey ho.

Two or three mods going to be fitted on the day with the assistance and hard work of mart and Dave

I really want to publicly thank Dave...localloon.

Thanks to his hard work, I have finally been able to fit my focus central throttle body.

I didn't want an induction kit, as my car really doesn't seem to like them at all.

So I wanted to connect the oem air box to the throttle body.

I could have bastardised the plenum but I wanted a cleaner look.

So, I bought a silicone elbow and Dave built me an adaptor to plug this snugly into the oem pipe work to the Maf.

Also built was the plate to sit the throttle and cruise cables.

Now its all up and running after some lumpy running issues...pretty damn happy
