Chris aka Warthog's car for sale.

Huh. Do we know its full history since he passed away, like whether it's been sold before?

It'd be nice if we could keep track of it.

It vanished after the prat who 'bought it for his son' sold it on after buying it. Good to see it's still in one piece.

Well it was certainly well cared for under Chris' ownership as we all know. Who knows what's happened since then. On the surface it doesn't look too bad, wouldn't hurt giving it a good look over. Provided it hasn't been abused it would be a good buy and it would be good to see it back in the fold (y)

I see the wheels have changed yet again:

I don't remember it looking like that before. That front end is brutal.

I didn't know Chris and I don't know what he'd have approved of. I do hope that he'd like the fact his car is carrying on though.

I spent a lot of time on that car with Chris and Tim, about four weeks with Chris and Tim making the journey up to the Pidcave and back home several times. I fitted and sprayed the kit, they are my strips specially designed for Chris by Tim. The lines/taper in that side stripe are very geometrically designed especially for that car, Chris wanted something special and Tim designed it and asked if i could produce it. Apart from the wheels, the car looks as Chris left it, although there does seem to be a mis-match between the bonnet colour and the rest of the car.
Chris was a great guy and holds a place in many of our hearts so it would be nice to see the car around this place again.

Think the bonnet colour is just the way the light is reflecting on the panels, as certainly looks like the old bonnet...not unless someone has resprayed it in the meantime and they haven't matched the paint properly???

Last I saw of it was Fordfair before Chris died, mechanically it looked fantastic aesthetically it looked tired, Chris never really cared to much about the looks as long as it drove true and stopped properly he was happy though I found it amusing how every show he had a new electrical mod done

Oh yes, i wonder if the led's are still in use. The ones set inside the scoop meshing? and one i still intend to copy, his flood lights in the doors (y)

The electrics were all Tim's doing, I think if he fitted it its more than likely still working he had an attention to detail :)

I'd have it if it wasn't the wrong side of the wedding and everything else going on, Chris was a good mate.
