Club Pennants

I remember this was discussed in the past, but, it seems to have taken a back burner now.
As the club is financially sound, could I propose that we invest some of the cash in a couple of Club Flags that could be flown at all our meets whether large or small.
I don't know about anyone else, but, when I see a few cars of the same marque gathered in the same place, I wonder what is going on.
When you attend Ford Fair or Bruntingthorpe Asda fun day, most other clubs have their flags flying. I know we have a club banner, but, that is at ground level and nobody sees it until they fall over it.

Yeah, totally agree Dick. It was discussed in the past but nothing ever came of it. Those flags would take up much less space than the banner too making it easier to transport and store.

This is something we've all spoken about in the past, and yes it does somewhat get lost in other stuff but show season approaches and what i'd like to propose, since i have no experience of club sail flags, does anybody have recomendations for a quality supplier at a reasonable cost.
I think we are all in agreement that the banner is ok at ground level but we really do need a distant marker.
Please remember though, our funds are very limited, it's not, as some believe, a bottomless pit.
