The bra tbh mate looks out of place , I'd rather risk stone chips and touch up paint them like I did , non noticeable unless you get up to paint work and examine.

Good looking car, tbh, i have to agree with the bra, bit like marmite i think
You could always get some of that wafer thin clear 3m stone guard film, you don't even she it once its applied, don't know if its available for the Cougar, probably in the US i expect

I always thought they were little spoilers to keep the bra in place, maybe they contain magnets though
The bras cause more damage than they avert. They trap dust and grit then dual-action sand it in to the paintwork. Bin it!
I've got a bra for mine, simply impossible to touch the bonnet up as it's a sprayed carbon fibre effect ! not keen on it but it does a job,
should be in the projects section somewhere, it used to be when were .com ! lol
