Given the height and angle of the sun, the type of clouds and also the distinct type of grass and the surrounding tree's would guess it's somewhere in England.......now where in England is not completely obvious at this stage of my investigation.

Well, the picture was take just off Wells Road, Malvern. The location was 902m from the nearest guess, which was made by Matt (backseateducation).

Incidentally, I do recognise that there is a certain amount of inequality here - the locals had a small advantage - so the next competition is going to be far more challenging. It'll be somewhere I'm fairly confident none of you have ever been, so skill (and luck!) will play a much bigger part than any local knowledge.

You didn't get it wrong. There are several ways of representing geographic coordinates, and Google understands all of them.
